The $714,734 All American Oaks-G1 is a race specifically designed for 3-year-old fillies at a distance of 440 yards. This year will be the fourth running of the event.
In the trials, the skies were cloudy and the track was fast with a head wind that varied from 7 mph to 13 mph.
Apollitical Jess qualified two to the finals with Political Royalty and Apollitical Chick V.
There were four homebreds in the final field with Ken O’Brien’s Streaks Of Power, La Feliz Montana Ranch LLC’s One Perfect Lady, Martin Stacy’s Curls Joyful Wagon and Gentry Farms’ Fearless Moon. Trainer John Stinebaugh qualified three horses in Cool Ya Jets, Curls Joyful Wagon and Fearless Moon, while M. Heath Taylor qualified two horses to the finals in Cartel Kisses and Political Royalty. Jockey Francisco Calderon rode three qualifying horses with Streaks Of Power, Cool Ya Jets and One Perfect Lady. Jockey Rodrigo Sigala Vallejo qualified two horses to the finals with Cartel Kisses and Political Royalty.
