EYESA SHOOFLY DANDY

Eyesa Shoofly Dandy is proving that the best of his career is yet to come, winning the $51,800 Pauls Valley Stakes-G3 for owners Curtis Smith and Steve
A. Holt on April 6.
The talented 6-year-old gelding is trained by
Judd Kearl and now has two stakes wins from only three career starts in 2017, making this one of his best years of racing yet.
Breaking from the 3-post in the lead for the Pauls Valley Stakes, Eyesa Shoofly Dandy, ridden
by Donell Blake, led the race by 1-length until the favorite, Admiral Zoomwalt, pushed them into second place late. Giving it his all, Eyesa Shoofly Dandy caught Admiral Zoomwalt impressively at the wire, winning his first graded stakes race by a head in :45.169 while posting a 101 speed index for the 870 yards. The $30,728 winner’s share pushed the gelding’s lifetime earnings to $131,595. The gelding also won stakes events in 2015 & 2016, and his race record is 10(4)-3(2)-1 from 24 starts.
Eyesa Shoofly Dandy was bred by Wesley Ann Anglin out of lightly raced Miss Sound Viking. She has produced 100% money earners from five starters, including CBS Chocoletgold, who finished second in the 2014 Speedhorse Futurity-G2. Eyesa Shoofly Dandy is her top earner and first stakes winner.
Admiral Zoomwalt (Shazoom-Tellin It All) took second place for owner Terry McLean and trainer Gerry McLean. James Flores was in the irons. Jess A Hilbily Bone (Rock Solid Jess-Imaginiff), closed in to finish third under Agustin Silva for owner Rockin J Running Horses and trainer Tammy Johnson.
Blazen Panther (Panther Mountain-Blazen Madie), CJS Rocksolid (Rock Solid Jess-Sultry Miss), JMF Shazoomer (Shazoom-Jess Bingo Beth), Fire On The Fly (Jet Cartel-Shades Of Pink) and Jess Twice Cash (Jess Louisiana Blue-Twice Cash) completed the field.

PYC Fun N Fancy battled his way to his first stakes victory in the $61,800 Laico Bird Stakes for accredited Oklahoma bred two year olds at
Remington Park on April 22.
Coming off a second place finish in the March 25
Oklahoma Futurity-G3, PYC Fun N Fancy broke sec- ond from the 8-post in the Laico Bird under Daniel Torres. The pair had a lot of ground to cover as they reached the first call in fourth, but surged after the second call to overcome the leaders and win by a head. The pair covered the 330-yard fast track in :16.941 for an 85 speed index.
The colt brought home the $34,680 winner’s share of the purse, which took his lifetime earnings to an impressive $129,669 for owner Jose E. Guzman and trainer Luz Chavira.
Weetona Stanley bred PYC Fun N Fancy in Oklahoma out of winner First Prize Fancy. The mare has produced 100% money earners from 18 start- ers. PYC Fun N Fancy is her fifth stakes horse and third stakes winner, with G3 winner/All American Futurity-G1 finalist Im A Fancy PYC being her top money earner.
Ima China Rush (Rushago-Ima PYC China Doll) was caught in the final stride under Larry Payne and finished second for owner Sherry Gilmore and trainer Guillermo Valdivia. Black Gold Okie (Okey Dokey Dale-Gotawaywiththegold) won the nod for third under Kevin Camacho for owner Mitchell W. Cathey and trainer Gregg A. Sanders.

Her Tail), Corona Razor (Corona Cartel-Klassy Chick), Painted Dynasty (FDD Dynasty-Tygers Painted Girl), Mighty B Good (Mighty B Valiant- Igottagoodee), SM Lexis Chick (Country Chicks Man-SM Little Lexi Jo) and JK Dashing Blue (One Dashin Eagle-Jess Katiebug Blue) completed the order of finish. Remington Park showcased a field of three-year- olds in the $61,800 Mr Master Bug Stakes on April 23.
Tough To Bee broke third from the third post
position under Ricky Ramirez and inched clear in the stretch to cross the wire 1/2-length in front, stop- ping the clock in :17.555 to earn an 87 speed index.
The $34,680 winner’s share of the purse increased his cumulative bankroll to $263,326 with three wins from eight outs that include third place finishes in the 2016 Ruidoso Futurity-G1 and the Texas Classic Futurity-G1.
Tough To Bee is owned by Paragon Farms LLC and trained Trey Wood.
The gelding was bred in Oklahoma by James E. and Marilyn Heltzer out of winner Peppermint Seis. She has produced seven starters, including Grade 1 finalist Cautionsly and winners Ruling The Race and Vise N Spice that have tallied 10 wins. Tough To Bee is her first stakes winner and top earner.
Bells Big Hero (Valiant Hero-Jess Big Time) finished second for owner Gregory Cullum and trainer Clinton Crawford. Agustin Silva was in the saddle. The gelding was coming off a victory in an April 9 Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Derby trial. B Double U (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Sixes Fisher) who was most recently 3rd in the Mighty Deck Three Stakes, finished third under G. R. Carter Jr. for owner Gregory Cullum and trainer Clinton Crawford.
