Race record: 4-2-0-1 Day 2, Race #4
Owned by the Fly Baby Fly Partnership, of which Bennie & Teresa Jeter are a part, Fly Baby Fly secured
the final qualifying spot on the 2nd day of trials with a :21.902 win in the 4th heat. She will be 1 of 2 All Ameri- can Futurity starters on Labor Day for trainer James Padgett II, who also saddled Hawkeye. With Rodrigo Vallejo up, Fly

She benefited from being on the outside of A Passion For Flashn, who bore in from the 5-hole and was later DQ’d from 2nd to 5th. In the meantime, Fly Baby Fly chased after A Passion For Flashn & Paint On Can- vas, then held off a game challenge by Hierarchy to find the finish line first. Her 1-length win as the heavy favorite was the 2nd of her career. Previously trained by Judd Kearl, Fly Baby Fly ran 3rd in a trial to the Grade 1 Ruidoso F. in her debut. She returned for the Rainbow F.-G1, winning her trial con- vincingly before gaining ground to finish 4th in the finals. Bred by Julianna Hawn Holt in Texas, Fly Baby Fly is by One Famous Eagle & out of the Walk Thru Fire daughter Higher Fire, who won the Ed Burke Million F.-G1 and Golden State Million F.-G1 the year she was named AQHA Champion 2 Year Old and 2-Year-Old Filly.
