                Texas Classic Juvenile
PA CHA CHING
by John Moorehouse
Pa Cha Ching rolled to his first-ever stakes win, taking the $47,612 Texas Classic Juvenile by 3/4-lengths at Lone Star Park on Nov. 9. The race was
held for competitors that failed to qualify for the Texas Classic Futurity-G1, which also was held on this card.
Drawing the 8-post, Pa Cha Ching broke out and bumped his foe, but jockey Eddie Sanchez kept the colt on course. Pa Cha Ching had the lead by a head as he entered the stretch and pulled away from there, finish- ing the 400-yard race in :19.784 for a 95 speed index.
A Jose Sanchez III trainee, Pa Cha Ching already had a taste of stakes company—most notably finish- ing second in the Sam Houston Futurity-G2 back in May. He was the fastest in the field this time.
Pat Allen owns and bred Pa Cha Ching, whose lifetime earnings hit six figures at $106,219 with the $21,187 addition from this event. The colt, who was the favorite at post time at odds of less than 2-1, now holds four wins in six lifetime starts.
Allen also homebred Pa Cha Ching’s dam, multiple stakes winner Toole N Round. She produced 100% winners from two starters, including stakes placed Potus. Pa Cha Ching is her first stakes winner.
KJ Mucho Macho Man (Apollitical Jess-Wild Six) secured runner-up honors for John Lee, Wanda Kathy Lee, and Ruben Mares. Wesley Giles trains the colt, who had Jose Alvarez aboard.
FM Party Rock (Corona Cartel-Party Girl Affair) hit the board in third for owner Jose Fabian Hernandez and trainer Robi Meche. Raul Ramirez, Jr. did the riding.

Lynnder 16 entered the company of multiple-stakes winners and earned another prize with her victory in the $30,000 Paragon Oaks at Lone Star Park on
Nov. 9.
Lynnder 16 already had proven herself in stakes
company, most recently winning the Ruidoso Derby-G1 this past June. In the Paragon Oaks, there was no keeping the filly out of the winner’s circle. She broke on top from the 2-post and led at every call of the 400-yard event, hitting the wire first under Cody Smith.
Tom Maher and Richard Tobin’s three-year-old sorrel prevailed by a neck in the stakes race for fillies and mares.
Jason Olmstead trains Lynnder 16, who finished the race in :19.686 for a 98 speed index, notching her seventh overall win.
In addition to banking a $16,500 payday that increased Lynnder 16’s total bankroll to $592,121, Maher and Tobin also received a breeding to Flying Cowboy 123.
James and Marilyn Helzer bred Lynnder 16 out of winner Tinys Corona Queen. She has produced 14 winners from 16 starters.
Sera Jess Fine V (Jess Lips-Sera Fina) finished second for Valeriano Racing Stables, LLC. The Toby Keeton trainee had Agustin Silva in the irons.
