                                 Bryant purchased Flash And Roll for $200,000 at the 2017 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale. Bryant has owned several horses trained by the Joiners, including being a partner in millionaire First Valiant Sign.
“I appreciate the Joiners,” Bryant stated. “They’re the most wonderful people for sure. We have about 35 horses now. Some are at Zia Park.”
Julianna Hawn Holt bred Flash And Roll out of 2009 Champion Aged Mare Stylish Jess BR, an AQHA Supreme Race Horse, seven- time stakes winner and multiple Grade 1 win- ner at Los Alamitos.
Stylish Jess BR has produced 100% money earners and four winners from seven start- ers, including additional blactype runner Jess Secrets BR who was third in the 2014 AQRA President’s Spring Derby at Turf Paradise.
vApollitical Pence (Apollitical Jess-Send City), who also won his trial to this event, finished third under jockey Saul Ramirez Jr. for owner Matt Dunn and trainer Monty Arrossa. The gelding had won three of his six previous races, was second in the Laico Biord Stakes at Remington Park and was a finalist in the Ed Burke Million Futurity-G1.
