Shez Showin Off at two in 2005 captured the Oklahoma Horsemen’s Association Futurity-G2, ran second in the Speedhorse Sprint Futurity-G1, and was third in the PSBA American Paint Classic Futurity. She was voted World Champion, Champion 3 Year Old, and Champion 3-Year- Old Filly in 2006, the same year she won the Yosemite Derby-G3. The next year she scored in the Deelish Handicap.
Shez Showin Off has produced five start- ers, all winners, including stakes-placed Shez Showin Ivory.
Charlie Rising APHA (CRM Livewire-Rare Wine) was second under jockey James Flores for owner Jay Ross & trainer Dee Keener. The geld- ing ran second in two trials in three prior starts.
Dan and Kaye Jones’ homebred Southern Electric APHA (CRM Livewire-Ze Southern Girl) ran third under jockey Eugenio Navarrete Jr. Prior to the final, Southern Electric won four of five starts, including the American Paint Classic.
Completing the field were CL Victorias Secret APHA (Royal Quick Flash-Corona Lace), Hey Ladeez APHA (Dos Poruno- Turbulence), JS Kool Hand Luke APHA (Kool Wagon QH-Linda Lajolla) and Te Ata Tales APHA (Wagon Tales QH-Friona). Babe Wired APHA, Bell N Wire APHA, and Heza Fancy PYC APHA were scratched.
