As you can see from the graph above, Tulfarris Golf Club occupies about 2.01% of the current golf membership
market in Co. Wicklow. It is a highly competitive market and the proximity to Co. Kildare courses on the
outskirts of Dublin provide additional competition.

• Membership renewal is due on the 1st March each year with renewal letters issued by post.
• The non-renewals per year is extremely high relative to the number of overall members in the club. Using
2019 as an example, the main reasons for non-renewal include New Club, Illness and Other.
• The club has recruited well over the past three years which would suggest that the sales process is working
well. There are currently approximately 140 membership sales contacts following the recent review and
clean-up by Mary. About 20 are good leads.
