9/11 Stair Climb Serves as a Valuable out of the classroom lesson
The Rock Canyon High School Fire Science program participated once again in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 11th. The event served as an inspirational opportunity for the class to learn about the culture of the re and emergency services and to most importantly honor the 9/11 rst responders. Each year, the students are taught a lesson that focuses on the rst responders’ side of 9/11 in order to help them understand and learn the sacri ces that are made on a daily basis when duty calls.
