  McCann’s 200+ year legacy
    1851, 1876, 1893 – Awarded prizes for product quality in the London Exhibition and the Dublin Exhibition, first prize at the Philadelphia Exhibition and award for "Uniformity of Granulation" at the Chicago Exhibition.
           1964, 1995 –Acquired by Odlums and transferred production to mill in Sallins, Co. The mill was extensively remodeled and upgraded in 1995 putting it on par with the most modern mills in Europe.
2018: B&G Acquires McCann’s
  2010 – TreeHouse Foods acquired Sturm Foods, including the McCann’s brand and manufacturing assets.
 1999 – Awarded the Hygiene Mark from Excellence Ireland and accredited to ISO 9002 and ISO 14001.
  1898 – Company moved to new premises on Merchant's Quay in the town of Drogheda.
2008 – McCann's Irish Oatmeal brand acquired by Sturm Foods.
 1800 – John McCann built a mill at Beamond, four miles from Drogheda on the east coast of Ireland. The mill was powered by water diverted from the Nanny River.
 2014 – Established new third party milling relationship to produce the finest Irish oats at a new state-of-the-art mill.
