The VYYR2401 A3 SoC is controlled by a proprietary embedded
application called Sentinel:
a. The Sentinel application allows for communication between the VYYR2401 A3 SoC
and a higher-level application running on the iOS mobile device.
b. The application configures the VYYR2401 A3 SoC to perform a targeted scanning
and image capture task, as specified by the user via the application.
c. The Sentinel app calibrates the VYYR2401 A3 SoC sensor array as required by the
current task.
d. The Sentinel app uses the VYYR2401 A3 SoC sensor array and VYYR2401 A3 SoC
GPUs to capture and process image data.
e. The Sentinel app then converts the image data into formats supported by the mobile
application.
f. The Sentinel app analyzes image data to identify weapons and possible harmful
materials on an individual or concealed within a transport case (such as luggage, brief
cases, boxes, containers, etc.).
g. The Sentinel app analyzes image data to identify targets selected by the user via the
mobile application.
h. The Sentinel app tracks moving targets selected by the user via the mobile application.
i. Tracking is facilitated by markers visualized on the iOS mobile device screen, said
markers then pinpoints the moving target.
j. The user aides in the tracking of the target by continually directing the SWORD case
in the direction of the target identified by the visual markers.
k. The Sentinel app also monitors and optimize power consumption to extend the life
of the lithium ion battery.
