The First Day
Our goal is to make the process as easy as
possible. Here are some important steps to
help prepare your child for their first day.
1. Dropping Off
Before your first day, you’ll be set up in the
system to gain access through our secure
building. Once you enter the building,
please walk your child all the way to their
classroom ensuring the teacher is aware of
your arrival.
2. Getting To Know Your Child’s Classroom
Locate your child’s cubby. This is a dedicated space for your child’s belongings. Also ask Registration & Enrollment ◆ ◆ ◆ ◆ ◆ ◆ ◆ ◆ ◆ ◆ ◆ ◆ ◆
the teacher where the family communication board is located. The family communication
board is where the lesson plans, calendars and any other events will be posted. Check it
frequently so you can stay informed about what your child is learning and engaging in
during the day!
3. What to Wear
For infants through age 2, please dress your child in closed toe shoes such as tennis shoes
with a skid resistant sole. For the safety of your children, sandals, slippers, boots, and flip-
flops are not permitted. The children go outside almost everyday, please make sure they
are dressed appropriately. And learning can sometimes be messy, we recommend that you
dress your child in clothes that are washable.
For children ages 3 - 5, please see the uniform policy at the front desk.
