My inspiration on Curaçao comes from the people, the

religions. My Chichi sculptures are handmade and painted

in bright Caribbean colors by local artisans at Serena’s Art
Factory and are a popular souvenir for visitors and locals alike.
Showing your creativity has a positive effect on the painters
and their families as they have something that they are proud
of and to which they can feel connected. It is all about our
island, Curaçao, and art provides a platform for that. I count
my blessings.
