Chane began his scouting adventure when he joined Blackhawk Area Council, Sycamore District, Cub Pack 167 in August 2012 and earned his Bobcat, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Ranks, the Arrow of Light Award, Supernova Award, and Leave No Trace Award. He crossed over to Troop 167 in February 2017, transferred to Troop 151 in June 2017, and earned his First Class Rank in September 2020. Chane then transferred to Bartram Trail District, Troop 892 in April 2024. Chane has served his Troops as Troop Guide, Webmaster, Assistant Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and Senior Patrol Leader. Chane also joined Blackhawk Area Council, Sycamore District, Venturing Crew 1667 in July 2020.
Chane has earned 33 Merit Badges and the National Outdoor Award for Camping. He has attended National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) and summer camps at Camps Long Lake, Napowan, Owasippe Scout Reservation, Ed Bryant Scout Reservation, Florida National High Adventure Sea Base, and the National Jamboree in 2023.
For his Eagle Project, Chane built ten PVC dog beds for Animal Care and Protective Services in Jacksonville.
Chane is a graduate of Oakleaf High School. He attends Jones Technical Institute and is part of the Marine and RV Technology program. His long-term goal is to own his own business.
