Seth began his scouting adventure when he joined Cub Pack 653 in September 2015 and earned his Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Ranks, and the Arrow of Light Award. He crossed over to Troop 653 in April 2018, transferred to Troop 892 in September 2019, and earned his First Class Rank in December 2020. Seth has served his Troops as Historian, Patrol Leader, and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader.
Seth has earned 46 Merit Badges and the Religious Award. He has attended National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) and summer camps at Camps Shands, Woodruff, Thunder, Daniel Boone, Skymont Scout Reservation, and Philmont Scout Ranch.
For his Eagle Project, Seth made a campfire pit as well as four benches and a surrounding gravel area for Crossroads Lutheran Church. The pit is eight feet in diameter and three feet in height and is made of 60 cinder blocks and 20 cinder block caps. The square gravel area extends four feet from the wall to the side of the square.
Seth is a senior at Middleburg High School and is a member of the Varsity Wrestling and Academic Teams as well as the National Honor Society. After graduation, Seth plans to attend Florida State University to pursue a degree in Engineering.
