2024 Summer Convention | Letter from the Vice President
Dear Federation family and guests,
I am so thrilled to welcome you in Jacksonville Florida for our 93rd annual convention. I know you will have a fantastic time enjoying the many planned events and the hospitality of our hosts the Arabic Club and the Salaam Club of Florida. A big thank you to both clubs for coming together under the leadership of the convention’s co-chairs Paul Ossi and Kim Dewan and our Federation Convention Committee who is putting together yet another beautiful celebration of our heritage. I will be remiss if I did not recognize all the
behind-the-scenes volunteers who make a convention a success, all the donors who contributed so generously, and the fundraising efforts by so many with outstanding results by Derek Dewan who managed to raise over $95,000.
Jacksonville is home to one of the largest, oldest, and diverse Middle Eastern communities in the US. So mingle well and discover how our heritage continues to shape us to this day.
For our young adults, I hope to see many of you on Friday July 5th at 9:30 at the Cedar Seeds meet and greet and learn about this incredible program and how you can participate.
Again, welcome family and friends to Jacksonville, enjoy your time, make new friends, and Dabke in Duuuval all night long!
