INTRODUCTION The United
Nations General Assembly adopted the
2030 Agenda for Sustainable Develop-
ment in 2015. This includes 17 Sustain-
able Development Goals (SDGs). Build-
ing on the principle of “leaving no one
behind”, the new Agenda emphasizes a
holistic approach to achieving sustaina-
ble development for all. The 17 goals
are:
In our ITI we have tried to embed this
concept in the young minds of our
trainees so that they can be a warier of
the planet to fight sustainability. First
they were exposed to all these 17 goals
& were asked to choose any one of
these as a sustainability project under
the LearnX.
