There are many sectors of economic activity – manufactur-

tions, business or nonprofit retreats. The key is that there is
compensation for the rental or use of the special event venue.
A “special use exception” is required to help protect for parking,
noise, food and beverage safety, and other use requirements are
met. (Note that the definition of “Special Event Venue” does not
include places of worship or outdoor music festivals.)
Special Events as a business has been growing over several
years, and we are seeing that in COVID-19 times, people want
to gather outside for celebrations. “Special Event Venues” in the
