This year’s MANTS was its usual perfection. Larry and I
walked through the show together and saw many old
friends and possible new suppliers. One, I was glad to find,
had Encore azalea liners at a price with pots, tags and
royalties that would give us a profit equal to or better than
buying finished ones for resale. It has long been a gripe of
mine to buy finished plants that we could grow ourselves.
I’m a grower and proud of it. I’ve always hoped we would
grow 60% to 70% of our plants, but all the while, knowing Beautiful and colorful pansies
we would never grow and have in stock all our plants in

On a sad note, Jeff Buckley of Buckley Brothers Nursery Eastern Shore Nurseries Inc
