Cultivating the Next Generation of Horticulture Professionals
The American Landscape Institute (ALI) and the Community
College of Baltimore County (CCBC) have created a 2-year
Horticulture scholarship program. ALI is a first-of-its-kind
‘Emerald Towers’ with damage, 9/8, CMREC
training and development program for the Horticulture and
landscape industry. Sponsoring nursery, landscape, greenhouse,
and public garden businesses employ participating students,
providing crucial work experience. Students attend CCBC and pay just 20%
of the tuition to ALI. Upon completion of the program 100% of the
student’s contribution is returned to them. Horticulture classes at CCBC
Dundalk begin August 2023. Graduates earn a 2 Year Certificate in
Landscape Installation, Maintenance, and Design from CCBC.
