University of California Berkeley in 1966, and the University of Vermont in 1967.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Delehant has served on the science frameworks curriculum committee for the Connecticut State Department of Education since 1995 and became a Fellow of the Connecticut Academy
for Education in Mathematics, Science and Technology, in 1996. Mr. Delehant is a member and served as past president of the Connecticut Science Teachers Association from 1980 to 1986, 1995 and 1997. He was a member of and served on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Science Teachers Association.
Mr. Delehant has also served as editor for Connecticut Science Teachers Association Newsletter and Connecticut Journal of Science Education. Moreover, he was elected as a Connecticut Science Education Fellow, October 2000 and given a Lifetime Achievement Award by Connecticut Science Supervisors Association in 2014.
