Dr. Timothy
Dr. Timothy D.Meadisa political science professor with over 5 decades of experience in his profession.
He began his career by obtaining a BA in 1960 from George Washington University,
and stayed on to earn his MA in 1961, and Doctor of Philosophy in 1969. During his studies he took up such jobs as being a researcher at the Institute of Defense Analysis in 1962, and carpentry with Earl C. Mead
& Son (1951-1960) While completing his doctorate he also worked at George Washington University as an instructor and teaching fellow (1961-1965), and at Moravian College
from 1965 as an associate
and assistant professor. After finishing his PhD, the newly minted Dr. Mead continued teaching at MoravianCollege until 1973.
From 1973-1975, Dr. Mead worked as the
first associate of Applied Communications, Inc., before moving on to work as the Associate Executive Director for the Domestic Council Committee on Right of Privacy (1975-1976). He also worked
in Washington D.C. for three years as a public administration fellow with the Academy for Contemporary Problems (1976- 1979), and as a consultant for Mead Associates from 1979- 1995.
