Above: In 2007, CareSource began construction on a new $55 million, 10-story of ce building downtown on the corner of Main Street and Monument Avenue. The space is 325,000 square feet and was occupied in early 2009. CareSource has grown to be Ohio’s largest Medicaid managed care plan and the second largest in the country. The building was designed to take advantage of the views and vistas of the river as well as respect the architectural heritage of Dayton’s historic Main Street corridor.
Since its founding in 1989, CareSource has had a presence in downtown Dayton because its of cials believe it is the ideal location. CareSource employs approximately 1,200 in Dayton and more than 1,400 statewide.
