Background
The Comprehensive Country Analysis (CCA) companion guide reiterates the renewed emphasis on partnerships across all
stakeholders to achieve the 2030 Agenda as a core principle of the CCA. Accordingly, it calls for closer engagement with all stakeholders
through free, active and meaningful participation in the CCA process. Besides contributing evidence to the process of developing the new
generation Cooperation Framework between the United Nations System and the government of The Gambia, the results of stakeholder
consultations are also to form part of the CCA data repository. This approach is also consistent with the broader UN reforms (See Video
1 for a summary of UN reforms).
