But we cannot let this stop us from making a difference with our youth. I look forward to

moving the Midwest Region forward with our Xinos and Kudos. I am calling on all youth
advisors; we need 110% support from you and your chapter to see these efforts through.

Our Community Awareness is progressing over time. Several educators from around the region

have reached out to me via social media and email, inquiring about our organization. I was
able to connect them with the local chapter in their area.

I encourage Basilei to use social media as a means of community awareness, especially for
such a time as this. We currently have a Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Website.

Our Midwest Basieli are the heartbeat for our region. They manage their chapters and
implement the National and Regional Initiatives to move our organization forward. I have
monthly meetings every 1 Monday of the month with the Basieli. The monthly meetings keep
st
the Basilei abreast of national initiatives and upcoming deadlines. I also pen a monthly
message to the Region with additional updates. We currently are using zoom for our monthly
meetings versus conference call. We are moving forward with technology!

Our Regional Executive team is outstanding! They keep me in line and make sure we are taking
care of business decent and in order. We have monthly meetings every 2 Tuesday of the

month. This has assisted with developing a working atmosphere of Leadership.

This year the Midwest Region Committee chairs were given a had a charge to develop 3 target

points for their committee. The 3 target points were given to the Basilei to incorporate in their
planning and add new ideas to their local programs. This year we will have a slideshow
presentation from the Regional chairs displaying the initiatives from the local chapters.
