• Spa weekend
• Sickle Cell Matters Awareness Walk
• Monthly Women’s health issues discussed
• Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Walk
• Breast Cancer Awareness
• Diabetes Awareness
• Participated in National initiative "Walk for Health"; assisted with "Health for All Fair" at Scott
High School.
• Taking care of our skin during the winter months
• Mini-Health Fair: Representatives from the North Central Sickle Cell Initiatives and the
Aliveness Project shared information with participates regarding hypertension, nutrition,
diabetes and the benefits of exercise and Alzheimer’s disease.
