February 20th will be a great event in Byhalia, MS with a double steak and a half chicken ancillary. You can always count on Mark Lambert to put on a great event with many of the top cooks from around the country. This is also got a hefty payout for the ancillary ($300). If you can make it to this part of Mississippi, then you should put this on your schedule.
ACE Hardware Points Chase
January 1st, we kicked off a new season of points for the ACE Hardware chase. It’s exciting to see brand new names on the Top 10 list. We will continue to watch this list shuffle and move as Chad Barragan seeks to hold onto this early lead. However, only 15 points separates him from tenth place, Jason Barker with eight other re- markable cooks in between. We are all looking forward to watching them all compete shuffle throughout the year. Then December 31st, we could see a brand-new list or these same 10. Regardless, though, it will be an exciting year to be a part of the SCA.
