OSHA Injury and Illness Recordkeeping and Reporting Requirements
There are a number of new repor ng requirements, and we thought it would be

Recordkeeping
Employers with more than ten employees are required to keep a record of serious work-related injuries and illnesses. Minor injuries requiring rst aid only do not need to be recorded.
This informa on will assist OSHA in evalua ng safety at the workplace, and implement worker protec ons
to reduce and eliminate hazards - preven ng future workplace injuries and illnesses.
Maintaining and Pos ng Records

at least ve years. Each February through April, employers must post a summary of the injuries and illnesses recorded during the previous year. And, if requested, copies of records must be provided to current and former employees, or their representa ves.
