AREA X - Administration

SUMMARY OF FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

STRENGHTS

1. There is an IFSU Code approved by BOR/BOT to guide the administrators,
faculty, personnel and students in their quest for excellence.
2. IFSU Potia Campus has 365 hectares of vast track of land for expansion
purposes which can be utilized for campus development.
3. The administration encourages and assists continuous professional development
of faculty and staff through its faculty and staff development program (FSDP) with
complete implementing guidelines and scholarship grants.
4. The Campus has a registered Guidance Counselor.

AREAS NEEDING IMPROVEMENT

1. Verticalized programs according to specialization are not considered following
the CHED requirement in typology.
2. Linkages with local, regional, national, and international to further assist the
institution attain its VMGO is not established.
3. Document coding and file guide in records management is not done.
4. A separate Gender and Development office with its organizational structure is not
established.
5. Graduate School Research Journal is not finalized for research publications.
6. Monitoring supervision and evaluating planned activities of the University is not
regularly done.
7. Annual/Accomplishment reports, DTRs, purchase requests, procurement plan,
acknowledgement receipts and all forms of communications are not signed by
proper authorities.
