 Composition of the Academic Council including its powers and functions

The Members of the Academic Council and their powers and functions are found in

the University Code Administrative Manual part one, page 20.

" 3.2.3.2. Academic Council. The Academic Council (AC) is composed of the

University President as Chairperson and the Vice President for Academic Affairs as

Vice Chairperson and all faculty members with the ranks not lower than Assistant
Professor. The Council is empowered to review and recommend curricular offerings

and rules of discipline of the university, fix the requirements for the admission of
students, their graduation and conferment of degrees.”
