Fireline and Firebreaks

Fireline is a special line which is made after a fire has started
for the purpose of suppressing that particular fire, while FIREBREAK
is established prior to the start/occurrence of fire.

Both alternate rows and alternate strips are very effective
systems for erosion control and slope stabilization especially
when grown following the contours. They can serve as sources
of food, fuel wood, organic fertilizers, fodder and for site
stabilization.
