CHIEF GUEST OF GRADUATION 2019

Congratulations to the graduates of 2019!

For many of you today seemed like a distant dream when you first began your journey. Some of you
have even traveled thousands of miles from home – away from all familiarity – to pursue a higher

education.

Your deliberation of such a process was perhaps intense, and considerable sacrifices had to be made to

allow you to pursue your tertiary education effectively. Through your solid determination, your strong
commitment to personal growth, and undoubtedly the continuous support of family members and

friends, you have persevered to make your journey here at RIC a life- changing reality. The varied and
in-depth academic and working experiences to which you have been exposed to during your studies
at RIC, would have prepared you with the technical competence and confidence to go out into the

hospitality industry with the right knowledge, skills and attitude – whether in Thailand, Asia, or
worldwide.

You are now career-ready, grounded in your discipline, articulate, and committed to the values your
family and school have instilled in you. As you embark on your career to take on the world, remember

your time in RIC and the bonds you have forged with your lecturers and peers. Wherever you may be,
bear in mind the thought that this network of support – a family of hospitality professionals – will be
something you will treasure as you establish yourself in the working world.
