EIP SPIRIT CAMP 2023
EIP Spirit Camp is an event organized by Grade 11 students with the purpose of building strong bonds between
the senior (Grade 11) and junior (Grade 7) students. Through a series of welcoming activities, the camp aims to help the
Grade 7 students transition smoothly into secondary school life. It encourages them to learn how to manage the challenges
they may face, with the support and guidance of their assigned senior “buddies.” The camp spans two days and one night,
during which participants engage in various enjoyable activities that subtly convey important life lessons—such as teamwork,
problem-solving, decision-making, and the courage to try new things.
In our year, EIP172, we had the opportunity to welcome and organize activities for our juniors, EIP176. We worked
together to prepare different aspects of the event, including venue setup, meals, and activities. Through this collaboration,
we became much closer as a group, learning to understand and support each other. We encountered and resolved conflicts
together, which ultimately strengthened our bond. This experience allowed us to grow and mature in many ways. It provided
us with valuable lessons that we will carry with us in the future.
