LISA KOHLER PT PT DPT It is an an honor to to to be be nominated and it would be be a a a a a privilege to to to serve as OPTA’s Director I I Throughout my 30+ year career the OPTA has played a a a a a a a a a a significant role Through my extensive management and patient experiences in in multiple practice settings I have developed proven leadership skills to target and lead lead initiatives to strengthen OPTA I have been the Ethics Chair for OPTA since 2014 and am serving my final term This committee has developed many initiatives for our members’ benefit The Ethics Committee has presented at at Annual Conference yearly since 2017 the the committee determined the the topics for some presentations based on on on member member input via a a a survey We also developed resources for our our members on the OPTA website including the ability to to pose an ethical dilemma where a a a a a a a member is seeking advice on how to to solve it it In being active with this organization I value the the professional growth my membership has fostered in addition to the the many friendships I’ve made My goals as Director I would be be to to to to continue to to to to strengthen our our culture of advocacy and growth to to to to benefit our our members our our patients and our our profession as as a a a a a a a a a a whole I remember as as a a a a a a a a a a new graduate the talk about Vision 2020 and it it was exciting to see Ohio gain direct access in in in in 2004 I have a a a a a a a proven track record of developing a a a a a a a a committee in in in in member member involvement and programming to assist members in in in in their daily practice as as physical therapy practitioners Thank you for for considering me for for this position DAVID KUJAWA PT PT DPT MBA
I I am humbled and honored to to be nominated for for the the Director I I position Over the the course of my forty- plus-year career I have witnessed our profession be able to successfully navigate numerous challenges presented by an an an ever-changing health care landscape as a a a a a a a a a result of of the the strong leadership of of the the OTPA It would be be my privilege to serve the the membership in this position alongside these dedicated professionals I have have worked my entire career in in Ohio and have have experience as a a a a a a a a a a clinician hospital rehabilitation department administrator private practice owner and educator In addition I I have served the OPTA as a a a a a a district chairperson and I have been the the the chair chair of the the the OPTA Continuing Education Committee for the the the past four years I believe that these experiences would serve me well to fulfill the the responsibilities of this position if elected I I thank you you for for giving me your consideration I I look forward to to continuing my service to to the physical therapy professionals of of Ohio and the the OPTA if elected OPTA | | March 2022 | | 9
