Annual Conference 2018 Was One to Remember!
This year, we changed up the format a bit to bring fresh content and engagement to our attendees . Annual Conference took place on April 13 -14 and was held at the Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel . The focus was on, “Leveraging Technology in Physical Therapy Practice: Application, Translation, Innovation .” Conference attendees – PTs, PTAs and students – had the opportunity to attend a variety of sessions, such as, “Leveraging and Demonstrating Value of Physical Therapy with Modern Marketing: A Clinical and Business Perspective” and “Video Analysis for Even the Smallest Clinics” just to name a few . With more than 13 individual sessions to choose from, two keynote addresses – one from APTA CEO, Justin Moore, and a panel discussion, attendees were sure to find something that piqued their interest.
And of course, after the last session wrapped on Friday, attendees were invited be a part of the Oxford Debate followed by the Student Challenge with the Ohio University taking home the trophy and bragging rights for one year! Our annual PACcy Hour event this year was another huge success and we cannot wait to see what next year’s conference will bring .
Don’t forget to mark your calendars because our fall conference, OPTimize 2018 will be taking place on September 28, 2019 at our new location, the Nationwide Hotel & Conference Center in Lewis Center, Ohio . This year’s event will focus on “Population Health and Movement .” We look forward to seeing everyone there .
