the opportunity to serve our chapter in this capacity. As stated in my candidate statement for President-Elect, I look forward to focusing on key issues facing our profession to drive membership through collaboration, innovation, and advocacy.
To all my colleagues who have provided me mentorship throughout the years, I sincerely appreciate the way you have encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone
to become more involved with our profession and the Ohio Chapter. I would also like to extend a big thank you to Marcus Williams for accepting the appointment to serve on our Executive Board as Treasurer as I transition to the President-Elect position. We are excited to have his expertise and previous experience back on the Board of Directors.

I am thrilled to support the OPTA as President-Elect. The next few months will be jam-packed with orientations, onboarding, and training activities with Dr. Apke and the OPTA’s staff to familiarize me with the many roles and responsibilities of our chapter’s president. I also look forward to collaborating with leaders at both the state and national levels as I expand my understanding of APTA’s governance structure.
