PROJECT CHALLENGES
Our clients had a large wishlist to fit into existing footprint; so our thoughtful detailed design was necessary to meet all their needs.
Another challenge was working in an almost 100-year-old home, electrical code issues were found & needed corrected. An open permit existed from a 1993 remodel which caused confusion and delays with the local building department. That 1993 addition and remodel by the previous owner was structurally unsafe and an additional steel beam was needed to properly carry the load of 2nd floor above!
And of course, the supply chain delays and labor shortages added time to the schedule.
SURPRISE SURPRISE Demo in an old home typically uncovers concealed issues. This house was no exception. Our clients trusted our expertise and were grateful we not only made their home more functional but also safer.
KEEPING IT NAVAL
So much thought goes into the design for our homeowners. From the kitchen island with its Sea Swell large pendants, the honey bronze cabinet pulls, and the champagne bronze Delta Trinsic faucet- every design detail from the upgraded fixtures, finishes and lighting help tie the project together.
CRAFTSMANSHIP & MATERIALS
Cambria quartz in Portrush countertops offer beauty & durability and are virtually maintenance free.
Sophisticated style of gold finishes on the plumbing, hardware and lighting.
Chevron accent of the tile backsplash adds a splash of personality.
Superior carpentry and building details are evident throughout the new construction.
