n the same night a boxing ring was erected on the
O Reunion grounds, and 13 bouts were played. The
standard of boxing exhibited left no doubt in the minds of the

pensioners that the boys joining the regiment were getting the
appropriate training to emerge as capable, agile and tough
servicemen.
