owever, the most “Pagal” event of the evening and very
H original in its conception was the Officers “Donkey
Race” where each donkey carried a distinguishing divisional

sign, tactical sign and star plate indicating the illustrious, if not
too comfortable rider on its back. The Armoured Corps
appeared to have lost its grip as Brigadier Chaudhary found a
recalcitrant donkey tossing him to the ground.

However, by twisting the tail, pulling the ears, and by
sundry other devices, Lieutenant Colonel Ranbir Bakhshi, MC
urged his mount forward and won the race in fine form closely

followed by Brigadier Anup Singh.
