he Regiment was 25 years old when the Third Artillery Reunion was organised at Artillery

T Centre, Nasik Road from 27 to 29 October 1960. Thus, the event was celebrated as the Silver
Jubilee Reunion. The Royal Artillery was invited to send representatives. Lieutenant General
William Pike, the Vice Chief of the Imperial General Staff and Major General WHB Mirrlees, CB,
DSO, MC, both of whom had served with ‘A’ Field Brigade in 1935 attended the Reunion.
Among the other distinguished guests who attended the Silver Jubilee Reunion were General
Maharaj Rajendrasinhji, DSO, Lieutenant General PP Kumaramangalam, DSO, Major General KP
Candeth, Director of Artillery, Brigadier Pritam Singh, Brigadier RA Cook, Colonel Gouldstine and
other Brigadiers and Commanders of Artillery Brigades in addition to pensioner officers, other ranks
and Warrant Officer RSM Knight, Royal Artillery and Sergeant DJL Smith, Royal Artillery. About
10,000 attendees were present. Brigadier Ranbir Bakhshi was the Commandant School of Artillery
and Colonel Gurdial Singh the Commandant Artillery Centre, Nasik Road.
