Ceremonial Parade
n 28 October 1960 the celebrations commenced with
th
O the ceremonial parade. After the General Salute, the
parade commander presented the parade to the Colonel
Commandant Lieutenant General PP Kumaramangalam, DSO.
After the inspection, the parade was addressed by the Colonel
Commandant. He stressed that the veterans had built an
excellent tradition with their zeal, efficiency and devotion to
duty and as such were a source of inspiration to the young
jawans of the day.
