he Fourth Reunion of the Regiment, originally planned to be held
T in 1965, was postponed owing to the Indo-Pak war. The only
Reunion to be held at the Artillery Centre, Hyderabad was conducted

from 25 to 27 November 1966. The COAS General PP
Kumaramagalam, DSO, the Senior Colonel Commandant of the
Regiment of Artillery, presided over the celebrations.
The Reunion was attended by senior officers of the Regiment of
Artillery and over four hundred ex-servicemen from all over the country
including twenty four war widows of JCOs and other ranks, martyred in
action during the 1962 war.
Among the retired officers who attended were Lieutenant
General P S Gyani former Commander of UN Emergency Force in Gaza
and Major General Ranbir Singh, MC, the former Commandant of
National Defence Academy. High ranking officers from the United
Kingdom who attended the Reunion were General Sir Robert Mansergh,
GCB, KBE, MC Master Gunner at the Court of St James, Lieutenant
General Sir William Pike, CB, CBE, DSO and Major General BP
Huges, CB, CBE, Colonel Commandants of Royal Artillery. Colonel R S
Wodeyar, VSM, was the Commandant Artillery Centre, Hyderabad.
