CORE Construction
ALDI FOOD MARKET
The Aldi Food Market, built for Aldi, Inc., included the new construction
of a 17,000 square foot grocery store located in East Peoria, IL. The
store functions as a retailer for food and household goods. The grocery
store was constructed of a poured-in-place concrete footings and
foundation, a structural steel frame, an exterior of masonry veneer
with metal studs, and a membrane roof. The project also featured the
installation of new plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems as well as
the inclusion of a loading dock and sidewalks. Due to CORE’s attention
to the client’s needs, the Aldi Food Market was ready to provide goods
and services to the community of the Levee District in a few months.
