LINCOLN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
The Lincoln Junior High School project, built for the LaSalle Elementary School District, included the renovation of a 23,000-square-foot campus located in LaSalle, IL. The facility houses special education classrooms, STEM labs, and a media center for 300 sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students. Renovations of the campus consisted of the expansion of the kitchen and cafeteria, restrooms, and offices by utilizing the school’s existing foundation, structural frame, exterior, and roof. The project also featured the new construction of a controlled main entrance to the school for security, sprinkler systems, and energy efficient mechanical systems. The Lincoln Junior High School project fulfilled the client’s goals of meeting the current and future needs of the school in scope, budget, and schedule.
