FRANKLIN SQUARE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
The Franklin Square Elementary School project, built for Greater Clark County Schools, included the historic renovation of the existing two-story Jeffersonville High School gymnasium into classrooms and academic spaces as well as the new construction of a single-story building located in Jeffersonville, IN. The addition was constructed using load- bearing concrete block with a structural steel frame, a brick veneer exterior, and insulated foam roofing. The school now has three classrooms for each grade, kindergarten through fifth, and houses a pre-kindergarten program, special education classrooms, and a media center. The Franklin Square Elementary School project now provides a modern space for students in Clark County.
