TOWN OF MARANA POLICE HEADQUARTERS
The Town of Marana Police Headquarters project included the new construction of a two-story, 42,327-square- foot municipal facility located in Marana, AZ. The new headquarters houses administration, records, K-9 units, and a holding and detection cell block. The municipal headquarters was constructed on a concrete foundation and a steel structural frame. An exterior of glazing, concrete masonry unit block, and tile with a built-up roof completed the construction. The project features state-of-the-art training facilities with classrooms, a gymnasium, indoor tactical shooting range, and a 360-degree virtual training area. The new headquarters also features a community room for both government and public meetings and events, a secured parking lot, and a shared courtyard area with the adjacent Marana Civic Complex. The Town of Marana Police Facility project now enables the police department to meet the public safety needs of a growing community with a state-of- the-art professional training and administration facility.
