KATHLEEN FIRE STATION NO. 23
The Kathleen Fire Station No. 23 project, currently being built for Polk County, includes the new construction of a 11,657-square- foot fire station in Lakeland, FL. The fire station will house three double-deep apparatus bays and dormitories. The building structure will consist of CMU on a concrete slab and a SSM roof. The project will also feature a kitchen, exercise room, and office space. Once completed the Kathleen Fire Station No. 23 project will provide a state-of-the-art facility for the first responders in Polk County.
PENN TOWNSHIP FIRE STATION NO. 13
The Penn Township Fire Station No. 13 project, currently being built for Penn Township, includes the new construction of a 11,617-square-foot station in Mishawaka, IN to replace the existing station. Construction of the facility will be comprised of a single- story structure with a mezzanine, a four-stall apparatus bay, and living quarters. The building will have shallow concrete footings, structural CMU walls with structural steel, structural cold-formed metal framing, steel bar joints, a deck over the apparatus bay, and light gauge metal trusses with asphalt shingles over the living quarters. Once completed the Penn Township Fire Station No. 13 project will provide an updated fire station for the first responders in Penn Township.
