19TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURTHOUSE
The 19th Judicial District Courthouse project, built for the State of Louisiana, included the new construction of a 350,000-square-foot municipal judicial complex located in Baton Rouge, LA. The facility houses 27 civil and family courtrooms, judge’s chambers, administrative staff and clerk of court offices, a jury room, drug lab, and detention and holding cells. The 11-story complex was constructed with a structural steel frame and concrete slab on metal deck floors. The project also contains an exterior glass curtain wall, architectural pre-cast concrete, and metal frame windows. The 19th Judicial District Courthouse project now provides a secure environment for the circulation of judicial officers, citizens, and detainees in the Parish of East Baton Rouge.
