ACADEMIC AND STUDENT SERVICES BUILDING AT NEVADA STATE COLLEGE
The Academic and Student Services Building project, built for Nevada State College, included the new construction of a two-story, 42,487-square-foot academic facility located in Henderson, NV. The building supports faculty offices, science laboratories, and classrooms. Construction consisted of structural CMU, aesthetic CMU, and a spatial arrangement of interior rooms and common spaces creating a campus within the building. The project also features SMART technologies within the classrooms allowing faculty the use of a wide array of audio/visual tools. Due to CORE’s professional preconstruction services and attention to design detail, the Academic and Student Services Building project won the Southwest Contractor Award for Best Masonry Project.
