MARICOPA CAMPUS AT CENTRAL ARIZONA COLLEGE
The Maricopa Campus project, built for Central Arizona College, included the new construction of three 72,000-square-foot academic buildings and a central plant located in Maricopa, AZ. The campus was constructed of steel with spread footings and an exterior consisting of rammed earth walls, solid and perforated metal panels, glazing, and a metal standing seam roof. Polished and sealed ground concrete in two colors, square carpet tile, gypsum wallboard partitions and aluminum framed walls with exposed steel, and acoustic ceilings comprise the interior finishes. The campus also features new utility infrastructure and 28 acres of entrance roads leading into it. The Maricopa Campus project unites campus boundaries and encourages interdisciplinary academic collaboration and success.
