LEARNINGS

• Mirror is placed centrally to the basin at the height of 300mm from
counter.

• Height up to the top of basin =850mm
• Vanity Countertop of marble finish thickness is usually 20mm.

• Countertop is glued to the MDF or plywood of 20mm thick.
• Usually, veneers are glue over plywood and paint work is done in MDF.

• The minimum distance from wall to wc center =400mm.
• The minimum width of the counter is 500-600 mm
• Length may vary according to the number of basin.

• Flooring involve :
• Step1: pcc of 25mm thick

• Step 2:Screeding of 15mm thick
• Step 3: laying of tile of thickness 12-20mm.

• Bathroom is always drop about 1 tile thickness from adjacent flooring
level.

• Min clearance for false ceiling from wall= 100mm.
• Aluminum Hanger is used with min length =100mm.

• 6mm thk cement board ceiling in white Emulsion paint finish is done.
• The thickness of the drawer should not be less than 150mm.

• Power circuit are generally placed at the height starting from 1200mm and
it should not be kept near the bathtub or shower area.it should be 900mm
